is the sequence that you should follow.
If the iPad is not showing, it’s either been disconnected too long, or its battery is exhausted, or it’s out of communications, or it’s in airplane mode or otherwise has communications disabled, or it’s powered off, it’s damaged, or it’s been broken up for parts, etc.
If Find My was not already enabled when the iPad was lost or stolen, it cannot be activated remotely.
And to be clear, we are other users like you, and not Apple. We definitely cannot locate your iPad.
