What to do if trying to download PlayMemories (Sony) for Mac, but app says "app needs to be updated" message?

Does this pertain to High Sierra 10.13, where this posting is placed or to Catalina 10.15 as per use profile indicates ?

High Sierra supports both 32 and 64 bit Applications.

Catalina ONLY supports 64 Bit Applications and there is not workaround.

Check with the Developer of this application for a 64 Bit version
