iPhone gets hot sometimes

I have a iPhone 12mini, and recently it has started getting hot sometimes. What maybe the cause of this? What can be done?

Could be an app that is running in the background. You might try quitting out of the "running" apps and see if that helps. This article from Apple will help you do that...

Along the same lines, you can also see what apps are using the most battery on your iPhone and maybe one or more of those are causing your iPhone to work a little harder than it needs to and therefore getting hot. Check this article from Apple for more info on that...
