IOS 15: FOCUS MODE

This question is regarding:

IOS 15: On Everywhere. When you turn on Focus, it's turned on across all of your devices.

I use my iPad only for school work and do not want to be distracted whenever I am on my iPad. That's why on previous IOS/iPadOS versions, I turned my Do Not Disturb on my iPad forever. But I can't do that anymore because it will silent my phone too. Although this feature is very good, I think that there should be a setting to turn it off.

That setting exists in iPadOS 15.1. Not sure about 15.0.x.

Visit Settings > Focus on your iPad.

At the bottom of that page, you should see a "Share Across Devices" slider. Turn it off.
