I am using Photos. I would Iike to scan all my Parents photos so they can be downloaded and or shared with other Family members
I would like to keep this completely separate from my personal Photo Library.
Is it possible

Create a second Photos app library and scan your parents' photos into it. The photos in the new library will be completely separate from the photos in your personal Photos library.
To create a second Photos library hold down the Option key and click on the Photos icon in the dock. A box will come up with a create new library option.
