When I open my camera there is a permanent green dot top right. I have denied access to all apps - and it’s still there? Closed all apps, stopped and restarted phone, initially green dot had gone but seconds after opening camera appeared again? It bothers me that I can’t identify what is using my camera?

Yes, it seems redundant to see the green dot when you are aware that you are using the camera, but now you will also know if one of the million or so apps available on the App Store might have access to the camera.

🤣so why bother with the green dot? I already know I’m using the camera🙄!.. thank you though, I can at least be reassured.
If you have opened the camera app, then you are using the camera, thus the green dot would appear, and stay as long as you are using the camera.
