the option to select navigation and guidance on apple maps is no longer available

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. It appears you want to turn off all voice navigation when it comes to Maps. We'll gladly show you how.

There are two places to check:

• Settings > Maps > Spoken Directions. Make sure the options you don't want are turned off.
• Open Maps. Start a navigation. Once it starts, on the right hand side should be a speaker icon you can change the voice to off: Get driving directions in Maps on iPhone
