lost all my music from my ipod 16gb

1. What model iPod are you using: Identify your iPod model - Apple Support
2. Where did the music originate? Example: Synced to the iPod from a computer, or downloaded directly from the iTunes Store or Apple Music (on an iPod touch only).
3. If the music originated on a computer, is it still available on a computer?

Isn't the music still in your iTunes Library?

Then unless you have a backup somewhere, you're going to have to restart with the CDs.
