Default Printer Settings

When I open a document in Preview and then print, they will use my last settings, but simply hitting Cmd + P in Finder will make it print differently. How do I set printer settings and make them consistently default to those settings?


System version: macOS Big Sur 11.6

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.6

In System Preferences >> Printers and Scanners and in lower are - look for " Default Printer " and make any changes, which is the Default Printer.
