macbook pro 13-inch 2019 display covered with horizontal black pinstripes

The retina display of my 13-inch 2019 macbook pro has since yesterday had horizontal black pinstripes with ca 1mm spacing between the stripes covering the entire display. The screen was back to normal for 1 use session since then, but the fault seems to now be permanent. I have tried rebooting, and checked that all software is up to date. Anybody else share the same issue? Any reason why that is, and if there is any self-help to try before taking the computer to an Apple repair shop?

Hi,

I think it's a hardware related issue. You'd better take your MacBook Pro to Genius Bar if your local retail Apple Store is open or find opened local Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined it.
