I'm trying to airdrop photos from my iPhone 8 Plus to my MacBook Pro. I have my photos settings for "Transfer to Mac or PC" set to "Automatic," but the photos are till coming up as HEIC on my Mac. Why? How can I get them to transfer as jpg?

Change preference in the iPhone settings>Keep Originals and test.
Switch back to Automatic and test.
