How to show battery % in staus bar on iPhone 13

How do you get the battery percentage to show in the status bar in the iPhone 13 Max Pro? I can’t figure it out. I can find it, but I want it to permanently display in the status bar.

It isn’t possible to show the battery % in the status bar on any iPhone that has Face ID; there just isn’t room. You can open the Control Center by dragging down from the battery icon, or add a battery widget to the Home screen.
