My iPad mini 6 has a hard time holding a Wi-Fi connection when my other devices have no problem
Any fixes beyond the typical turning unit on and off and trying airplane mode on and off

Got VPN?
Try disabling it or, temporarily deleting it from your iPad.
Re-establish your WiFi connection.
If you choose, re-download the VPN and re-enable it and see if your WiFi connection stays stable.
