Gmail on Mail app does not show notifications Hello everyone! I'm new to iOS and have been getting used to it these days. Trying to setup my Gmail account on the Mail app I have the following problem. The app doesn't show notifications of new emails in a brief period of time after it was sent (not sure if it does anytime or just shows if I enter to the app and refresh it). This represents a disadvantage for me because I need to see and answer emails fast. I'm not sure why but in the "Fetch New Data" section, next to Gmail says "Fetch" and the option "Push" (which appears next to iCloud) isn't available for Gmail. If anyone could help me solve this I would be very thankful!

Are you using the Gmail app, or the native iPad Mail app? If the Mail app, then go to Settings>Notifications>Mail, and make sure Notifications are configured for screens and the Banner styles.
