Cannot find disk to install MacOS

My MacAir when turn on show white screen with ? Mark in the middle, after I press command R it leads me to reinstall macOS but when I click continue to set up, it ask to chose which disk to install BUT I can’t find any disk to install , why?

Open the Disk Utility.


If the drive appears there, use the Mount, First Aid, or Erase function on it. Otherwise, it's dead or not properly connected; either of these requires a hardware repair.
