Hello CaroleAtwn,

It sounds like you are unable to connect to Wi-Fi after updating to iOS 15. We understand how important this is to you and we are here to help.

This article may be able to help: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

If the issue persists, can you provide a few more details? Are you able to connect to other networks? What happens when you attempt to Wi-Fi? Also, have you restarted your device since you first noticed this?

Cheers!

Your issue is unlikely to be WiFi per-se, but more likely a problem obtaining a valid IP Address for your network.

If you have a VPN App or profiles installed, or a security App such as Norton, these may be interfering with DHCP - and may need to be temporarily disabled.

DHCP is frequently used to automatically obtain an IP Address from your WiFi Router. Until your iPad has a valid IP Address to connect to your network, you will not have an internet connection. Disabling or removing VPN and/or the offending security App should allow DHCP to operate normally - allowing connection to your network and the internet. Alternatively, you can manually set an IP Address and Default Gateway (Router), appropriate for your network, from iPad settings.

If this resolves your issue, the VPN and/or security App can be reinstated after the connectivity problem has been resolved.
