Updating to IOS 15 troubleshooting

When I go to my settings on my device, it says that there are no updates available. I am running IOS 14.7. I tried manually updating to IOS 15 via my MacBook, but I'm getting the same result. I have an iPhone XS Max. How can I update?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14

You are better off staying on 14 for now. 15 is nearly useless. None of the “improvements “ are useful and all kinds of CarPlay stuff is broken.
