I downloaded the Instagram app. When I try to open it, it flashes and goes back to the home screen. The icon for IG isn’t the typical but a white square with lines. I’ve deleted the white square and tried downloading again but the App Store says I’ve already downloaded the app and wants me to ‘open’.
I’ve restarted my phone, hard reset, I have sufficient memory, & updated iOS.
I’m not sure what else to try.
Since this seems to be the App Store not (re)downloading the app properly, you’re left to check your App Store login and payment method, and then check with Apple, per:

always repeated . I dont know what to do
I do delete and restart the iphone , then I go to the appstore to re-download it. But there’s no download icon , it just “open”. But I cant open either download the app .
