When trying to reinstall OS X on my 2012 iMac, I get “no packages were eligible for install

I get a “no packages were eligible for install”

trying to reinstall OSX after clearing the hard drive

iMac, OS X 10.10

The first part went well. but when it tried to reinstall OS X it errored out saying no packages are eligible to install. Did I miss anything?

OS X- No packages were eligible for install Hi there, I’ve been trying to reset my MacBook and somewhere along the way deleted the Macintosh HD internal drive, I’ve followed some recommendations on here for similar issues but nothing seems to work! Reinstalling El Capitan on imac when re installing El Capitan on my old iMac, I get the following message: OSX could not be installed on your computer No packages were eligible for install. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again. I tried again and got the same result any suggestions??
