screen time limits are deleting apps from my Childs device

I've tried to set screen time limits on my Childs iPhone a couple of times. She complains that it deletes all her apps and she loses all her data/info. I don't want to toggle on/off through a hundred different apps every time I need to block her access. Why is Screen Time doing this? I thought it just blocks access, why would it delete the apps?

Hello momcantgetitright,

We would like to see how we can help you with Screen Time settings. Screen Time will not delete apps, only the user will be able to. If you turn off the ability for them to delete the app, does the issue persist? Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps, to turn off the ability for them to delete apps. For more information visit: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Cheers!
