Setting Up Ipad

I was given an iPad. When I turn it on it shows screen to select language. I select English and press home button. I receive message iPad not set up. I am unable to go any further. Any suggestions?

iPad in setup and trapped in foreign language I charged my new iPad (7th) generation) and it was in setup mode. I wanted the language to be English, but I tapped the screen on the wrong language. I am stuck in setup and can't get out. I can't read what anything says. If I wait for the iPad screen to shut off, then press home, it does start rotating through “hello” in various languages. But when I press the hello in English, it goes into setup in the foreign language it got stuck in before. I have tried pressing the home button, one, two, and three times. Since I am in setup, but haven't even put in my ID yet, I can't get to the home screen to try to get to settings to change the language there. Any suggestion on how to start over? Thanks Jeff

locked ipad mini When I power up my ipad mini the screen comes up with the word "Hello" and the following message, "slide to setup". It won't accept any input and just the word "Hello", in different languages.

Why are you pressing the Home Button? You should select your country or region after the language selection.
