HELP!! How can I re-connect to with my phone.

Apple watch is LOCKED, stating that I need to use my phone to unlock it.

I've not used the device since my prior iphone was upgraded apparently as my device is not listed on my phone app.

I cannot ADD the watch.

I tried from CLOUD and also not able.

I've tried all reset options from watch,

I've tried to RESET but never get to that option.but just get the unlock message or the power off.

I did get to the big red exclamation ! screen after holding a combination for a LONG time to get to the reset button but still no reset option.

I am behond frustrated. Tried submitted a ERASE, but that is PENDING since it is not connected to the phone.

Devise is charged

I've tried everything that i can find in the instructions
