iPad is stuck on white screen

Hello:) Take a look at this info:

If your iPad App is locked or frozen, you will need to reboot / restart your iPad by simply holding the sleep and home buttons togetheruntil the iPad restarts. You'll see the shutoff slider come up first, but just keep holding. The screen will go blank and the Apple logo will reappear as the iPad reboots.

If iPad still doesn’t turn on, or if it gets stuck during start up… see the Apple Support article If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t turn on or is frozen.

I have the same problem and the easy 'button' fix doesn't work. The link only goes to iPhone fixes and I can't seem to find another option.
