MDM Profile Error

Recently, I renewed and updated the APN, volume purchasing and and auto-enrollment features in my Jamf Now account. Since having done so, I have been have issues with a handful of phones that refuse to reconnect to the MDM server on my account. This is the latest error message I received. The first one I resolved by factory resetting the phone via iTunes.

I have received this error many times in the past year, but it has been happening less often recently. The only way forward that we have found is to put the device in recovery mode and to restore the device using iTunes. Most of the time this will resolve the issue, however we have had restore a device more than once a few times to clear it.


I am not sure what causes this issue, but when we last talked to our management software provider they told us that this could be due to the device trying to load the device management software onto the device when it already has it on it.
