Menu bar Flickering MacBook Pro 2017 (Big Sur 11.5.1)

Hello,

I have recently started to see this flickering on my menu bar. I'm not sure what it is, I have reset the NVRAM and the SMC and I have run a diagnostic that showed no problems with my computer. I have also started my computer in safe mode and the problem is still there. I have done everything. The bar will start flickering and if I continue to use my computer, it will freeze the screen. When I shut down my computer the problem goes away for about 30 minutes, but returns. Due to where I live, I am not able to get out to an apple store. Wondering if anyone has had this problem or has there been a solution? Please see pictures.

Hello, thank you for the reply. Any other solutions for me? ( It’s gotten worse :( )

I know of no other course of action, my guess it is a hardware issue.

You can try and run the user Diagnostic...not as definitive as Apple's own AST2 (Apple Service Toolkit). This back bench diagnostic of Apples is more conclusive then the user Diagnostic, but may kick out an error code.

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac

If if you receive an error code, there is nothing to do but take it in for review:

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment
