How to re install the disk ?

it looks like I have deleted the disk of my MacBook Air when I actually wanted to format my MacBook. How do I re install the new disk ?

I had to format and reset my macbook air .. was then unfortunate to delete the entire hard drive. when I reinstall the machine there is no hard drive to put software on. can it be fixed?
