Ibook g4

I just got this iBook g4 model: 1055. And when I plug the charger in and tried it. It moves up but had this weird blue Apple booting screen. I thought maybe someone just customize the OS. But then when I saw the main screen. I knew this was no customization. So for some reason all the colors are weird and I don’t know if this is with iBooks or not.

Greetings, Mad_x!

From your post, it sounds like you are trying to get information about the display on your iBook G4. We’re glad that you reached out to the Apple Support Communities. We want to try and help you find the answers you need. Looking at the specs for the iBook, it does look like this is an older model Mac: iBook G4 (Early 2004) - Technical Specifications. If you feel that the display is not showing correctly, you can take the device in for inspection to your local computer repair shop. Here's more information: Obtaining service for your Apple product after an expired warranty.

Take care!

So today I tried turning on the iBook again to see if anything will change. And the display didn’t change at all but then I ran into this weird problem. When I turned it on and thought it had booted up completely. It started to boot loop in a certain way where it kept just going to the blank blue screen and the desktop. I wanted to show you a video of the incident. I still got the video but I couldn’t import it into a reply. Just photos. I’m starting to think the hard drive may or may not be broken or corrupted. I also several times ran into the broken hard drive screen and just blank white screen.
