Calendar monthly appearance on iPhone - dots

My calendar when in month mode used to show the first event I had scheduled, sometimes the second one. Now all I see are dots. This just changed about 2 days ago for unclear reasons as I do not think there was an update.

Can I make it go back to how it was before?

Only dots on monthly calendar. Just got a new iPad Pro. Huge screen, right! When I open the calendar in the monthly view I only see dots where there’s an event, like on my iPhone. Is there a way to change this? All of my calendars are checked. I’ve deleted & reinstalled the app & done a hard reset. Nothing.

Calendar on iPad only shows dots Can Apple not go back to showing text again on Monthly Calendar? The technology exists. The old way was better. It was so helpful for me and others. Dots don't do anything because that could be a Birthday, Holiday, or anything. I need to easily glance at the month and know who/what is supposed to be where/when. I have to open my Out of Date Ipad to easily go thru my year. If I am on the phone with a client, I prefer a glance, not pressing on each date with a dot because they all will have dots eventually.

Calendars Some how every date on my calendar has a dot under the date! But I do not have a scheduled appointment every day. I must’ve changed something but cannot figure out what. Thank you

You can show events in List view while in month view by tapping the list icon in the top right.
