Syncing across devices

I do not want to download the apps I use on my iPhone onto my iPad. How do I prevent syncing of apps across devices?

iPad and iPhone synchronization issue I’m having difficulty setting up my iPad. I’m logged into the same Apple ID on both my iPhone and now iPad, but I don’t want apps that I downloaded on the iPad to also appear on my iPhone. I also don’t want the safari to be shared on both my devices, that includes research history. But I still want both devices to be logged on the same Apple ID, I don’t want to create a new one for another device. How do I desynchronize my devices only not to share safari and App Store while still having them logged onto the same Apple ID? thanks!

stop sync app download between ipad and iphone I've been searching for how to stop sync app download, but in ios14 I can't find the App store in setting - my name place, which is needed to find auto download. Of course, there is App store setting in different place, but although I turned off the auto download, the app sync is still working. How can I stop this sync?

If App downloaded to your iPhone appear on your iPad (or other devices), you simply need to disable Automatic Download of Apps and App Updates in Settings:

Settings > App Store > [Automatic Downloads]

Apps - set to OFF
App Updates - set to OFF
