Apple Watch Not A Data Source

How do I make my apple watch a data source for apple health?

For example, on the steps part, the watch isn't even listed.

It will only be listed when the health app has received some data from the watch.

No Cardio fitness data I have had an apple watch 7 now for around two weeks and although I am getting heart data back on the health app there is no cardio fitness data and hence no VO2 max info. If I look at data sources & access it shows DATA SOURCES as None? I've been on 20+ minute walks with my fitbit on my other arm and this is recording and giving a VO2 measurement.
