Is there a way of linking cards in Contacts that are not from different email accounts. For example; is there a way use the "spouse" field in Contacts to link individual cards for a husband and wife (or other related person)?

I think I misunderstood how the linking feature works. I was expecting that the program would let me fill the spouse field by giving me a drop-down list of other contacts to link to. I see now that you have to create the link manually by typing in the name of the contact.

In the Spouse area you can add any number of people (see screenshot) which might link them to you like the spouse entry does. Just right click to get the menu.
