Apple Watch Nike Running Club stuck on Pause

After my run this morning, the NRC app is stuck on the pause screen on my watch. There is no stop icon available and it just toggles between the distance ran and the pause screen.

I've rebooted the watch like ten times now, I even did the latest OS update, and still no luck. Every time I go back into NRC after a reboot it comes back to the run I cant close. I can't close it, so I can't track any runs, which is extremely frustrating

Also, forcing a close of the app doesn't work, as soon as I close it, it reverts back to that screen .... any suggestions on how to get rid of this? I saw the other thread suggesting rebooting 3 or some times, Ive gone passed that and Im still stuck in the loop.

I’m not familiar with the Nike edition. When I use the Watch App on my phone and go to the NRC app listing, you can toggle the switch “Show on App on Apple Watch”. I did that, restarted the watch then toggled the switch again and for a few runs has been working.

I have the Nike edition. I "uninstalled" the app by toggling the "Show App on Apple Watch" switch as described above. Restarted watch. Toggled the switch again to install Nike Run Club on the watch. Tried to load NRC on the watch but it wouldn't launch. Just went back to my watch face. Uninstalled it again. Restarted both the watch and the iPhone. Installed it again on watch. This time it worked. Haven't tried it on a run yet.

I did this and it fixed it but it’s done it again and again. I dumped NRC and moved to Strava. Doesn’t have the same features and I don’t have the mile history from Nike (I have almost 4000 miles). Very disappointed that it won’t work.

I also had the same problem. Uninstalled app from watch and reinstalled…seemed to work. App is still glitching, have been on a few runs after reinstalling.

I exactly have the same problem. I cannot uninstall my NRC app as I have the Nike edition Apple Watch model, the Nike Run Club application is built into the software and cannot be deleted.

I had same problem . After try different options, what finally worked was unpair and pair the watch.
