Can I use Sidecar when the iCloud accounts are different?

The iPad I am using is primarily used by my wife, thus has her AppleID signed into it. I want to use it occasionally as a second screen for my 2017 Macbook Pro, which uses my AppleID. I'd like to use Sidecar while having the main AppleID on the iPad to still be my wife's.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.4
