Higher Resolution in Screenshot
is it possible to take higher resolution screenshots?

I think screenshot are equal to the display resolution setup. See if you can adjust your display resolution.
If you need to resize, you might need to use preview or other app to achieve it.
Automator app can be helpful if you need to do the resize on multiple screenshot files.
