Screenshots no longer saving to desktop

Can anyone help. Everything is up to date on my new MacBook Pro, but in the last two days, the screen shot shortcut stopped working. I take dozens a day, so this is not an amateur problem. They always went to Desktop.

I already checked iCloud and Documents.

I have rebooted my computer about 6 times.

Help!

Disappearing screenshot My screenshots appear on my desktop but then in 3 seconds disappear. I have a MacBook Pro. 2020. This has been going on for awhile but I am just now finding it annoying enough to put it out there. Any ideas where I can find my runaway screenshots? I did the System Prefs/Keyboard/Shortcuts/Screenshots thing and deleted all defaults and then rechecked all defaults, and this STILL didn't solve the issue. Any ideas?

Screenshot is gone on my MacBook The screenshot function has stopped working. When I take a screenshot, the image will not lie on the desktop. It settles nowhere. I'm searching for the picture but it's not there. I have checked the settings on the keyboard and restored the default settings on the screenshot, but it still does not work. Any advice on what can be done?

MacBook air (OS Mojave 10.14.5) no longer saving screen shots All of a sudden i can't see the screenshots in the desktop folder, i use "Cmd + Shift + 4". Already tried relaunching the Finder, rebooting the laptop, turning off the laptop and turning it back on, checking the keyboard options and nothing has worked.

Press commaand+shift+5, click Options and select Desktop.
