Whatsapp backup not available on new iphone

My icloud account shows a backup of Whatsapp , however when i download whatsapp on new iphone , whatsapp tells there is no back up available which can be restored

Tried backing up multiple times

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 14

How to restore previous WhatsApp backup? Hello everyone, I accidentally overwrote my WhatsApp backup on iCloud during the transfer to my new iPhone. How can I restore a previous WhatsApp backup? The app itself can only restore from the most recent backup. Can it really be the case that there's no history available in Apple's iCloud? Why do I even make weekly backups and pay so much for the iCloud service? Thanks for your help.

hiya! do you have a strong internet/data connection? sometimes this may be the issue, and try and re-backup whatsapp on your old iPhone, and restart the new iPhone, I've had this issue when getting a new iPhone, see if it works for you! :)
