I don’t know if my messages are being delivered. Some say Delivered and do nof. Also very often if text is too long or if more than one photo attached I get the message “unable to deliver”.

Why will my messages not be delivered if too long or more than one picture attached? How do I know if they are received? They don’t always say delivered.

If they are SMS text messages (green bubble) they will not tell you if they are delivered. If they are iMessages (blue bubble) and the recipient has that turned on you will get a delivery message. As far as the message too long or more than one picture those are most likely SMS text messages. Check with your cell service provider to make sure your phone is properly provisioned by them and what their limits are.

Thank you Deggie and I apologize for repeating. I had typed the question in and then when I signed in it said type your question here, so I sort of did it again. I will call my provider but to be honest I was on hold today for 40 minutes and got frustrated and hung up. Is one way better than the other? What I have been doing instead of typing long messages is just send a paragraph at a time and one or two pictures at a time. I was also having trouble trying to send a picture when replying to a message that was sent to a group, like two or three people.

I don't know who your cell service provider is. SMS texts are limited to 140 characters but some carriers if you go longer will automatically break them up and send them as separate messages. If you are sending to a group that includes people who don't have iPhones you will run into the same limits. I would try going to your providers website and see if they have an FAQ about SMS and MMS.
