Big Sur - Bootcamp error message, removed windows but did not restore free disk space.

I recently decided to remove bootcamp from my 2015 macbook pro, I followed the steps suggested by apple using the bootcamp assistant, I got an error message (which I didnt capture, but was something about not being able to restore the space, or that was the gist of it)

The bootcamp partition was about 200gb (or there abouts)

when I run

diskutil list

in terminal I get the following

/dev/disk0 (internal, physical):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: GUID_partition_scheme *1.0 TB disk0

1: EFI ⁨EFI⁩ 209.7 MB disk0s1

2: Apple_APFS ⁨Container disk1⁩ 792.0 GB disk0s2

3: Apple_HFS ⁨Recovery HD⁩ 650.0 MB disk0s3

(free space) 207.7 GB -

/dev/disk1 (synthesized):

#: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER

0: APFS Container Scheme - +792.0 GB disk1

Physical Store disk0s2

1: APFS Volume ⁨Macintosh HD - Data⁩ 667.7 GB disk1s1

2: APFS Volume ⁨Preboot⁩ 548.9 MB disk1s2

3: APFS Volume ⁨Recovery⁩ 622.9 MB disk1s3

4: APFS Volume ⁨VM⁩ 1.1 GB disk1s4

5: APFS Volume ⁨Macintosh HD⁩ 15.3 GB disk1s5

6: APFS Snapshot ⁨com.apple.os.update-...⁩ 15.3 GB disk1s5s1

under storage in the mac it displays the following;

and in diskutility I get;

I have tried to boot into recovery to repair the disk, to no avail, happy to hear suggestions on how i can reclaim the lost space.

Thanks in advance!

On macOS Big Sur, this highlighted volume should not exist. Run

diskutil eraseVolume free free disk0s3

diskutil apfs resizeContainer disk1 0g

and post the output.

Storage now shows i have 318GB available as free storage, so this could have very well done the trick? unless there is something in the above output that looks concerning?
