Recover Deleted Music from iPhone 12 Pro Max

While trying to make a new playlist on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, I accidentally deleted some music that wasn’t Apple purchased music. Is there a way I can recover them? I signed into iCloud from my phone but I can’t see anything that says music and I’m not sure how to find it.

Greetings tambolyn,

We understand you’re looking to recover some music that was deleted from your iPhone.

If you are an Apple Music or iTunes Match subscriber, you may be able to redownload that music by syncing your library. You’ll want to be sure in Settings > Music that ‘Sync Library’ is enabled.

If you’re not, other options would be to sync the music from a computer if you have the files on a computer: Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer

Music files are not stored in iPhone backups, that includes iTunes and iCloud backups.

Thanks.
