No airplay

No airplay

I have a 2015 MacBook Pro I have no airplay icon and cannot turn AirPlay on in the settings display options because while it has a airplay display pulldown menu the only Option is off

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Reset SMC by following the directions applicable to your MacBook here ➔ How to Reset SMC. If that does not solve things then-
Reset NVRAM/PRAM by following the directions applicable to your MacBook here ➔ How to Reset NVRAM/PRAM.

The Display pull down menu only shows OFF because your MacBook Pro is unable to locate any other device on your Wi-Fi Network to connect via AirPlay. An AirPlay capable device must exist on the same Wi-Fi network.

Actually it is on a network with my tv and my other laptop works just fine connecting to the tv just not this laptop. No airplay icon, no option to turn it on
