AppleTV+ Free subscription

I bought a new iPhone 12 couple of months ago. How do I activate myfree appletv subscription? Right now it's asking me for a week's trial. Thanks

i got an iPhone in May. I signed up to try subscription on June 22nd. it's a little confusing I see trial for 7days free and then it's says 12month free. Not sure which is accurate ?

The 12-month offer requires passing an eligibility check and enrolling. Being shown a 7-day trial indicates the offer wasn't applied to your account.
