Why can’t I use my payment method on my iPad but it has the same info as my iPhone and it allows me to make purchases on my phone?

Why does it not allow me to make payments on my iPad when it has the same info as my phone?

Are you absolutely sure your payment methods on the iPad are active and current? I recently found that my iPad had an expired card information: I updated it and everything was back to normal.


If you find that all your info is correct, I would suggest 2 things:

  1. Remove the payment info and re-enter it
  2. If this fails, contact Apple Support: Get Support
