Epson L1800 Not working on Big Sur

Hello Apple,

Recently I spent 3500.00 dollars on a new iMac 2020. I installed Big Sur, and now my Epson L1800 printer does not work. I spent quite a bit on that printer and need it for sublimation work.

Please can you advise me how to get it running again. When I try to install it. I get

"An error occurred while trying to add the selected device. Successful-ok-ignored-or-substituted-attributes"

Any guidance would be appreciated. Please don't tell me that Big Sur is a big lemon.

Using Big Sur 11.4. 2020 iMac 5K 27 inch.

Ok,

I went to this web address and downloaded the driver for my Epson L1800

https://www.epson.ee/support?productID=13808

I used the Catalina driver, and all is working well. I hope this helps anyone else with the same issue.

forum, you are not addressing apple here just fellow users

seems like the last macOS version Epson supported for that model was Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Thanks Rudegar, appreciate you letting me know. Catalina drivers seem to work fine with Big Sur for the Epson L1800.
