I just updated my laptop with Big Sur. Now I can no longer grab and move a text box. It won’t move by using the arrow keys either. And some of the small circles you pull to change the size of a text box have disappeared. They now only appear on the middle of the right side and on the lower right corner.
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.4
Check to make sure you are on the latest version of Big Sur, currently 11.4. Go to System Preferences > Software Update and update if necessary.
And make sure Pages (and any other iWork apps you have) are updated to version 11.1. If necessary go to the Mac App Store to update them.
If your system and apps are already up-to-date then you can try restarting your Mac.
