Apple watch won't unlock MacBook Air
Following recommendations from Apple, I set up my watch to auto-unlock my MacBook Air. Without warning it stopped working. I have an Apple Watch 6

You mentioned that it has stopped working unexpectedly. Before it stopped working, do you remember any changes happening to the Mac or the Apple Watch? We would recommend trying to boot the Mac into safe mode and restart it from there to see if that helps.
