3 series watch unable to update

Series 3 watch unable to download update...unpaired and factory reset...still unable to pair watch with phone...will not let me get past the update..thus the watch is unusable........please advise.

Unable to update watch to pair I have a new IPhone 13, and have tried everything in the support for pairing my watch to my new phone. I have tried to reset the watch, but I can’t get to any other screen on the watch but the start up. It will pair and say it needs an update, so I click install. It stops after a while and says “cannot update you are not connected Ted to the internet”. But I am..I’m connected to wi-fi and it just stops.

Series 3 watch update ! How are we to get the watch series 3 to update ? I have tried so many things and nothing is working . I’ve tried to reset , restart , and re-pair it to my iPhone 11 soo many times. I have restated my phone too. Am I out on my watch ? It will not let me pair it at all .

If you have a back level watchOS 6 version installed on your watch right now, you may need an old iPhone with iOS12 or older to pair it with first. Alternatively contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store and ask if they can run the update for you.
