Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're looking for an option to delete duplicate contacts showing on your iOS device. We'd like to check a couple of things.
- Are you only using iCloud for your Contacts? If you're not sure, you can check this in Settings > Contacts > Accounts.
- If using more than one account, have you tried disabling the non-iCloud account? If not, give that a try. Doing this won't impact the data contained in the secondary account.
- Do you happen to have access to a computer? If so, you could follow the direction provided in article, If you see duplicate contacts after setting up iCloud Contacts.
