How to install OS fresh with a blank or erased hd?

I have macos 10.12 as an installer in a flash drive and in my mac book, a blank erased hd, how and what do I do to install the OS?

If you created a bootable thumbdrive, connect it and start with the Option key held down. Otherwise, install the OS from another source and run the installer if needed; depending on the computer's model and firmware, restart with the Command and R keys held down or use a DVD.
