How do I delete an app from my child's iPhone or iPad so that they are not able to re-install it without asking me for permission?

First, delete the app as your normally would.
Then, read through this article to learn how you can prevent purchases/app downloads using Screen Time.
You can also turn on Ask to Buy to require permission for purchases made on your child's device.
