2019 MacBook pro water damage

I spilled water on my '19 mac book pro. I immediately unpowered and did the necessary steps. I have taken it to 3 apple certified service providers. No one has been able to repair it. The main assessment was that

" the trackpad connector blew up which led to layer damage. They said they could not fix the layer damage."

I've had it 1 1/2 years. Are the inner parts second hand? My 2009 mac book had worse water damage and it was fixable.

Thoughts and advice please?

Thank you Bob for your response. I get that water damage is extensive. My point is this. I had a 2009 mac book pro that was in my bag that had a bottle of water that had leaked and I had it in the bag for the weekend. I was able to recover it. I had a 2014 mac book air that was super solid. In 2019 I was debating to get the new air, mac book pro or the ipad that got bad reviews. Here I am, a laptop that is bunk.
